Connie is married to a retired deputy sheriff who has served for 34 years in law enforcement. She has been apart of the MR/DD community for 28 years because of her adult son who has mental disabilities and a seizure disorder.
Connie is retired from the Hoover Company after 30 years of service. She is currently working part-time for the County Treasurer’s office. Connie is active with the ARC of Stark and ARC of Ohio. She services as a board member and serves on the governor affair’s committee as a co-chair for both the Stark and Ohio ARC.
Connie also is involved with Family Resource Services (FRS) and Guardian Support Services (GSS). In 2004 till 2006 Connie was a certified Parent Advocate for Stark MR/DD.
