Ohio Partners in Justice (PIJ)
is a coalition of professionals from the criminal justice system and
the developmental disabilities (DD) system, as
well as mental health professionals and other advocates for persons
with developmental disabilities.
Our mission is to expand and
improve community resources for individuals with developmental
disabilities when they become involved in the criminal justice system.
The goal of the Ohio PIJ is to fulfill its mission by providing cross
training of law enforcement, criminal justice, and DD personnel.
Ohio
PIJ is funded by a grant from the Ohio Developmental Disabilities
Council.
