Kim is the Assistant to the Deputy Director, Parole and Community Services, Ohio Department of Youth Services. He is the staff support to the Juvenile Sex Offender Treatment Program Certification Advisory Board and administers the sex offender treatment program certification process for ODYS. Kim represents the Department in working with the Ohio General Assembly regarding legislative activities involving juvenile sex offenders. Kim serves as the Division of Parole and Community Services lead for compliance with department reform activities. Kim acts on behalf of the Deputy Director to provide program direction for parole and community support services. He has conducted numerous trainings on a comprehensive approach to the supervision and management of juvenile sex offenders. Kim is also a member of the Board of Trustees for the Alcohol, Drug and Mental Health Board of Franklin County.
