Mary Lou Tucker lives in Dayton, Ohio,and she has an adult son who has a developmental disability.
She retired from the Dayton City Schools as a science teacher in 1990, after 32 very successful years of teaching. Her honors and awards are numerous.
She served on the Ohio Developmental Disabilities Council for six years and currently serves as Special Advisor to the Community Living Committee. She is one of the Charter members of the Ohio Partners in Justice Committee. She also serves on several local boards and committes.
